Rosacea is characterized by groups of capillaries near the surface of the skin dilate and produce a facial erythema or redness of the skin mainly in the nose, cheeks and chin.

Sometimes papules or pimples that resemble acne there was formerly called acne rosacea.

In addition to redness, rosacea can cause also a persistent burning of the skin and extreme sensitivity to touch. It can even cause inflammation of the eyelids and in some cases, can impair vision.

This disease most often affects white women thirty to fifty years. However, in men occurs more severely with a proliferation of tiny tumors and thickened tissue that makes the nose becomes bulbous and bruised.

Although rosacea occurs intermittently, may become permanent and even expanded in some cases, other body parts.

Although it is unknown the true cause of rosacea, there are factors that aggravate as:

Genetic predisposition
The hormonal fluctuations during pregnancy or menopause
Emotional strain or stress
Excessive heat or cold
Use of cosmetics and skin products containing alcohol
Drugs such as vasodilators
Alcoholic and caffeinated
Spicy foods

Folk Remedies

Remedy for rosacea # 1: Develop a tomato juice with cucumber and radish which helps balance the distribution of tallow or grease that lubricates the skin.
Remedy for rosacea # 2: Apply aloe vera gel or aloe vera dry skin affected. However, it is necessary to check before if you are allergic to this plant. Thus, place first a drop in the wrist and if skin becomes red, should not be used.
Remedy for rosacea # 3: Consume one tablet daily of vitamin B complex
Remedy for rosacea # 4: Mix 1 / 2 cup water and a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. Apply to face using a cotton ball.
Remedy for rosacea # 5: Apply one tablespoon of cod liver oil on discoloration.

Eating a diet with natural foods and raw.
Avoid consumption of saturated fats in particular.

Perform moderate exercise without excessive sweating
Have adequate rest and relaxation
Avoid exposure to heat, either from the sun, a fireplace or an open furnace and the sauna and facial steam vaporizers because they can break dilated capillaries near the skin surface and to avoid, also, the cold extreme
Avoid wearing clothes with wool because it keeps the body apparently too hot and cause redness and rashes in people with rosacea.
