How to delay skin aging

- Categorized in: Natural Remedies

Alongside the physiological aging of the skin occurs which involves a series of skin changes such as:
The number of structures to renewing the collagen (which is called fibroblasts) decreases. Collagen is a protein that is present in the skin and is responsible for elasticity. When these structures decreases, the skin loses elasticity.
Melano genesis process which causes increased pigmentation is not uniform and patches appear.
Capillary fragility and consequently increases appear veins (couperose) on the cheeks and nose.
The hydration is reduced.
The thickness of the dermis decreases.
The dermal extra-cellular calcium is reduced which is essential in the process of expansion of fiber contraction.
All these changes (especially the loss of elasticity and hydration) are responsible for the appearance of wrinkles.
However, in addition to these changes in the skin, other elements called free radicals which are chemical groups in production and with the participation factors as:
- Environmental pollution
- Radiation from the Sun
- The physical and mental exhaustion,
- The prolonged treatment with drugs and radiation therapy.
- Free radicals alter the biological system of humans to act specifically in the metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates, lipids and nucleic acids which accelerates the reduction of collagen and thus the aging process,
Then again we wonder how we can slow the aging process?
Step One: Neutralization of free radicals and adequate food consumption
The first step is the neutralization of free radicals with the aid of substances that we consume antioxidants like vitamin E and evening primrose oil.
Similarly, we should consume:
- Horsetail tea
- Dandelion tea
- Rosemary
- Ginkgo biloba
- The black currant
They all have properties that help block the production of free radicals and oxidation of lipids.
However, it is also important to protein intake in our diet as we have seen them gradually decline with age which increases the problem of lack of skin elasticity
Only animal proteins contain all essential amino acids, but vegetarians can turn ingested proteins in high-quality protein if mixed with cereals, vegetables and legumes.
We except that vegetarians have clearer skin and healthier than those consuming animal products (particularly red meat), but a vegan diet can cause protein deficiency and early decay of the skin
Therefore, we recommend a diet abundant in nuts, wheat germ, avocados, soy products or soy with a weekly consumption of fish.
Second step: Elimination of chemicals and other
It is necessary to completely eliminate the use of snuff, drugs, alcohol and chemicals,
Step Three: Caring for the skin with the external application of beauty creams
The third step is to use externally beauty creams to combat premature aging.
However, it is recommended to use estrogen-based creams and progesterone which are highly publicized, since hormones, once absorbed by the skin, can cause negative reactions in the body. It is therefore recommend the use of natural products for the production of beauty creams.
A natural product that has proven successful is cocoa butter which applied to the first wrinkles around the eyes, serves to attenuate and even reduced.
Among the cosmetic plants that we include in the preparation of beauty products in the fight against skin aging are the gotu kola, horsetail, St. John's wort, comfrey and ginseng. All of them are optimal cell regenerating
With all plants can be prepared teas for direct application on the skin as a compress.
We can not forget the aloe vera, thanks to its active principles, is an ally of the health and beauty of the skin. Aloe thoroughly clean skin because it removes dead skin cells, regulates pH, nourishes and tones the skin.
Natural Beauty Recipe
Below we provide some natural beauty recipes, based on the plants specified to combat aging.
It is important that in implementing these prescriptions, maintain the natural elements in the skin at least 20 minutes and rinse with hot and cold water alternately. Also needed is applied, most often, these recipes, since it must be remembered that with the natural elements the responses may be slower but more durable
