- Categorized in: Common Diseases

Cancer is an abnormal and disordered growth of cells in the body, which develops as a parasite and invade surrounding tissues and then spread through the lymphatic system and bloodstream, producing metastases.
Usually the risk of some cancers is related to the following factors:
· Obesity
· Genetic Factor
Poor diet food · sprayed with chemicals and devoid of nutrients (refined foods, the 'junk food' and 'fast', too much red meat and animal fats)
· Exposure to smoke from car exhaust and air pollution
· History of sexually transmitted diseases
· Exposure to ultraviolet radiation or
· Smoking
As can be seen among the factors, nutrition plays an important role so that natural medicine has much to contribute in this field.

Recommendations
Here are some general tips to avoid the risk of getting cancer:
- Be periodically monitored to rule out any type of cancer, especially if there is family history.
- Do not heat food in plastic containers.
- Do not use dishwasher chemicals and in any case, always well clear containers where cooking and eating, as dishwashers compounds are potentially carcinogenic.
- Do not smoke or drink alcohol (if done in moderation)
- Daily physical exercise (at least 30 minutes)
- Preventing obesity and staying slim.
- Eat slowly.
- Or do not consume alcohol in moderate amounts.
- Reduce consumption of salted and smoked.
- Try to eat organic food.
- Drink mineral water or filtered
- Strengthen the immune system
- Here are some dietary recommendations to prevent cancer:
- Eating soya. Soya is a very healthy source of protein. Its high content of isoflavones help prevent breast, prostate and colon.
- Maintain a diet low in saturated fat. Eating fat stimulates the production of bile needed to digest it. If an excess of bile is stored for long in the large intestine becomes apcólico acid, a proven carcinogen. Therefore, we recommend not eating foods that contain lots of saturated fat especially junk foods or fast calls. Preferring, instead, consumption of fish containing a fat (Omega 3) which have anticancer properties.
- Increase fiber intake. Fiber quickly mobilizes potential carcinogens that exist in the intestine to reduce the contact time between them and the intestinal walls. The best sources come from wheat bran, beans, chickpeas, grains and prunes.
- Eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Vegetables like broccoli, cabbage, mustard greens, cauliflower, spinach, peppers, tomatoes, garlic reduces the risk of all cancers, to take into account anti-cancer compounds such as phenols, indoles, flacon, isothiocyanates and cumin.
