Everyone, at some point in our lives, we felt anxiety. However, when anxiety becomes a vague and indeterminate sense of anxiety or fear that is disproportionate to the potential threat that is caused or arises the desire to flee without knowing what the real danger, requires special attention.
Anxiety has many roots, it can be of order:
- Physiological drug reactions, substance abuse, drugs, glandular disorders, hypoglycemia, cardiovascular diseases
- Psychological trauma subconsciously hidden; as experiences of war or personal traumas of childhood, adolescence, accidents, assaults or natural disasters
- Genetics: Anxiety may be present in the family. For example, children receiving the affected genes are more susceptible to anxiety than others.
Its symptoms include the following:
- Insomnia, restless sleep, waking up easier
- Dizziness, shaking of the body
- Shortness of breath
- Inability to keep still in one place
- Tension, irritability, worry, despair
- Inability to think clearly
- Women may experience increased premenstrual symptoms and menstrual cycle changes

- Lump in throat, dry mouth
- Tension in the chest, stomach cramps

- There are some folk remedies that can be used to combat anxiety in common situations. However, severe cases should be treated by a doctor.
Folk Remedies
- Remedy for Anxiety: It is popular to combat anxiety, three tablespoons of oatmeal boiled in ¼ liter of water to be having a cup before each meal.
- Remedy for Anxiety: For postpartum anxiety and tension, we can construct a tea with 1 teaspoon of dried lemon balm and a cup of water.
