The Spirulina algae is highly regarded throughout the world to be considered a very complete food for its high amount of vegetable protein (50 to 70% while only 20% meat) and a low level of cholesterol and saturated fat than they ideal for vegetarians, athletes and the elderly.
However, in addition to its virtues and properties as healthy food is also beneficial in the world of natural beauty as:

Here are some natural beauty recipes which contain as an essential ingredient the use of Spirulina algae.
Seaweed mask
Ingredients:
Three sheets of seaweed or 3 tablets of spirulina and chlorella algae.
¼ cup water
Crush the three sheets of Spirulina algae. (If you do not find the leaves can be used capsules that are sold in pharmacies botanical which must pump powder) Mix the paste of the leaves or powder of the capsules with water and apply directly to face.
Let stand about 15 minutes and remove with cold water. It can be used instead of water, an infusion of chamomile and thyme to get a more spectacular.
Seaweed and clay mask
Ingredients:
5 tablespoons red clay
3 capsules of algae powder
¼ cup water
Mix the clay and algae in water (instead of water can be used an infusion of thyme and chamomile). Make a smooth paste and apply on the face. Let stand about 25 minutes, then remove with warm water and finally cold.
Seaweed Bath
Ingredients:
3 handfuls of leaves of algae (seaweed meal no)
2 handfuls of coarse salt
2 drops of pure essential oil of lavender
Heat the water bath temperature of 35 º. Place the sheets of algae that can be crushed and coarse salt. If instead of directly using the algae can be placed in a cloth bag and soak in the tub a few minutes earlier.
Finally, add the drops of lavender oil to give a relaxing touch. It is recommended to stay for 20 minutes and then perform a cold shower.
